Taekwondo literally means, “The way of hands and feet.” Meaning that the practitioner learns how to live a healthy and productive way of life while acquiring self defense skills. Taekwondo is a Korean Martial Art with over 2000 years of history. Today Taekwondo has evolved into a highly competitive sport making it all the way to the Olympics! There really is no difference between other martial arts and Taekwondo other than place of origin. A-Team Taekwondo helps you develop coordination, self esteem, and creates leaders in all of its practitioners. Our goal at A-Team is to guide our students on a journey of self discovery and mastery of both their bodies and mind. This is done predominantly by teaching the student to persevere and achieve each new belt until they finally achieve their Blackbelt! Taekwondo is for all ages, starting as young as 4 years old. Classes and the curriculum mold to your abilities. Taekwondo could be a great exercise program for your child and you!
Master Angel Aranzamendi
(Master Instructor)
Master Angel Aranzamendi (Master A) is a 6th degree Blackbelt in Kang Duk Kwon.
Master “A” spent many years as an accomplished athlete, his accolades include 5 time Michigan State Champion, 2 time US National Champion, 4 time US B Team Member. But Master A states that his competitive successes are not what he cherishes the most but rather it was the training and the dedication to a goal that he is most proud of. Through Taekwondo he learned the skills that make him successful today. Master A enjoys teaching these same skills to children and adults alike.
Master “A” now makes his home at A-Team Taekwondo where he trains many the same way he was trained. We come from a strong line of champions and continue to strive for excellence, and it shows!
